The Village Spot is a Denver-based platform created to connect, inform, and empower Black Denver. We highlight trusted businesses, share verified information that matters to residents and business owners, and encourage our dollars to circulate within the community.

We exist to connect, inform, and empower Black Denver — helping residents discover trusted businesses, access useful community information, and keep more dollars circulating within the community. Every intentional purchase strengthens the village.

What we do

• Connect residents with Black-owned and Black-friendly businesses across the Denver metro.
• Inform the community through The Village Voice — updates, guides, and resources.
• Empower local businesses with visibility and a trusted place to be found.

How verification will work

Trust is the whole point of a community directory. We're building a verification process that's clear about what a badge does — and doesn't — mean. Badges are not yet live; any badge shown today is a labeled design sample. Learn more in our Verification Policy.
